Uch Sharif: Oil tanker carrying 40,000 liters of petrol turns turtle

UCH SHARIF (Dunya News) – An oil tanker on Sunday has turned turtle near National Highway Uch Sharif Qaziabad due to carelessness, and 40,000 liters of petrol spilled over the road in less than a second, creating panic.
The Motorway Police have sealed the area and rescue work has been started. Dust has also been poured on the oil.
According to police officials, the accident took place when the driver dozed off. An eyewitness told that the driver could not survive and died, whereas, his helper sustained injuries and both have been transferred to the civil hospital.
Let it be known that the incidents of overturning of oil tankers have increased raising concerns among the people regarding their safety.
