Maryam Nawaz emerges on political landscape after long absence
Shehbaz has been remanded by accountability court for 14 days in Ashiana Housing scheme.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Maryam Nawaz—Sharif’s political-heir apparent—has finally emerged on country’s political landscape after long absence as she arrived at National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Lahore office to meet with Shehbaz Sharif.
Maryam was accompanied by his father Nawaz Sharif and opposition leader in Punjab Assembly (PA) Hamza Shehbaz.
Shehbaz has been remanded by accountability court for 14 days in Ashiana Housing scheme.
It would be suffice here to mention that Maryam and her father Nawaz have adopted mysterious silence and are refraining from issuing any political statement ever since Islamabad High Court (IHC) acquitted them in Al-Azizia reference filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on orders of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
