Karachi is engine of national economy: COAS
The COAS appreciated efforts of Pakistan Rangers Sindh for improved security environment
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday visited Headquarters of Pakistan Rangers Sindh.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), DG Rangers Sindh gave detailed briefing about security situation of the province including law and order of Karachi.
Speaking on the occasion, the COAS appreciated efforts of Pakistan Rangers Sindh and all other law enforcing agencies for improved security environment.
Gen Bajwa said that Karachi is engine of national economy and we shall further improve its security environment so that positive business trajectory is maintained.
Commander Karachi Corps Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz also accompanied the COAS.
