200 employees of PM House adjusted into other depts, two allocated for PM

(Web Desk) - Naya Pakistan , a famous slogan, was introduced by former international cricket captain and current prime minister of a nuclear state, Pakistan, Imran Khan s party - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) - during election campaign with promises to make Pakistan an exemplary state.
When PTI came into power after wining general election, Prime minister Imran Khan decided to take start from the PM house by cutting its colossal expenditures of the house.
PM s special assistance Iftikhar Durrani said that two employees are allocated for prime minister while 200 of the total 524 employees of the PM house have been transferred to different institutions. The austerity drive will save Rs 140 million and that money will be spent on children to end malnutrition in Pakistan. PM Khan bears expenses of his private guests in personal capacity, further adding that he will answer the questions in the upcoming session of the National Assembly.
While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Iftikhar Durrani praised the PTI-led government by saying that 200 employees of PM house were adjusted into other institutions, therefore, the Prime Minister s staff would be gradually reduced; and in this regard 125 employees in the second phase will be sent to various institutions.
The Prime Minister s Special assistant said the expenses of the telephone were reduced from RS6 million to 3.8 million, however, the Prime Minister paid Rs. 2,32,000 from his pocket for the renovations of his residence. RS97,973 has been paid, so far, for the personal guest of the PM.
In the past, RS28 million has been spent on the refreshment of PM s guests while this amount will be RS5.6 million after diminution, on the other hand, spending on staff s uniform was 4.5 million and in future that will be RS0.8 million whereas RS0.5 million was paid for the vigilance of buffalos.
Unveiling the luxury life of previous government , he said that operating cost of Raiwand house were also paid from the PM office.
Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar is working on the task of South Punjab and Multan will be empowered in comparison to Lahore while beta version of an administrative structure will start work soon adding that, soon after people will not have to go to Lahore.
