Fawad Chaudhry banned from Senate until apology
Fawad Chaudhry is also disrespecting Senate chairman, Sherry Rehman said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani on Thursday has banned Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry’s entrance in the upper house over name calling during the session.
The chairman has directed Chaudhry to tender his apology.
It is to be mentioned here that the decision was taken on the demand of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman who urged to stop raising the slogans of ‘dacoits, thieves’ for smooth running of political system in the country.
Fawad Chaudhry is disrespecting Senate chairman, she added.
The opposition parties also staged walkout from the House and announced not to return until information minister’s apology.
