Patients, attendants barred from using mobile phones in PIMS
Anyone found using mobile phones would be handed over to police
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Wednesday barred attendants of the patients from using cell phones inside the hospital.
According to a circular issued by the PIMS Executive Director Dr Amjad, in which he directed that the patients and their attendants cannot use mobile phones inside the hospital.
The circular further stated that anyone found using mobile phones would be handed over to police.
It is pertinent here to mention that a citizen lost his life after he couldn’t undergo medical examination as a the city scan machine was out of order.
