Fawad Ch urges religious leadership to counter 'ideological war'

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday called on religious politburo to play efficacious role in ideological war.

“A group wants to practice politics under veil of religion. In such hard times, the real religious leadership should come forward and promote govt’s narrative”, Fawad was quoted as saying.
On recent protests, the vocal minister added that it was a societal crisis, rather than being a political or state crisis. He added that Pakistan was facing ideological crisis.
He pointed out that an ideological war is not won with weapons but with arguments and logic.
