Trader receives extortion slip for Rs0.5 million
Someone pasted the extortionist slip outside the shop last night.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Extortionists once again have become active in Karachi’s Lyari area and spreading terror.
The trader of Karachi has been told to give extortion money worth half a million rupees, in an extortionist slip with Gang War commander’s name ‘Wasiullah Lakho’.
According to details, unknown person pasted the extortionist slip outside the shop last night. On the slip one national and one international phone numbers were mentioned with the name of the gang commander.
The police is of the view that the gang is led by Wasiullah Lakho and Zahid Ladla who are using different national and international numbers to contact traders, however, in most of the cases international numbers are being used.
It is pertinent here to mention that it is the fourth incident of extortion reported during previous few days raising the question over the performance of law enforcement institutions.
