No one gets into power corridors without deal, claims Zardari
Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said that putting him in jail would only increase his popularity.
NAWABSHAH (Dunya News) - Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said that no one gets into power corridors without a deal, Dunya News reported.
This he stated while addressing party workers in Nawabshah. He claimed that former premier Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Imran Khan came to power after a deal. He said that they know how to strike deals but they do not know how to run the affairs of the country.
Asif Zardari said that conspiracies are being hatched to arrest him and added that getting arrested was not a big deal for him. He said that putting him in jail would only increase his popularity.
Commenting on the trade deal Pakistan struck with China for trade in local currency, Asif Zardari said that his government had struck similar deals with six different countries.
