BEIJING (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday apprised attendants that Pakistan—which was fastest developing country back then in 1960s—succumbed due to massive corruption.

He was addressing ceremony at Central Party School in Beijing. Khan termed money laundering biggest problem of the contemporary world.

Shedding light on his 16-year struggle in politics, Khan told attendants that he had succeeded as he continued to learn from his mistakes. He said, “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is now the biggest party of country”.

“Ever since coming into power, strengthening state-institutions and alleviation of poverty have been ours main priority”, Khan was quoted as saying.

Praising China, Khan vowed to learn from the experiences of Beijing.

“It was the mindset of the Chinese leadership that they decided against unequal development”, professed Khan.

Khan sought Chinese cooperation to curb white-collar crimes.

“China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) comes to Pakistan as great blessing. We need investment more than ever. Our relation with Beijing is multi-dimensional”, stated Khan.
