NHA raises over Rs10m in vehicle auction

Buyers complained of poor condition of the vehicles which they said were too costly.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The National Highway Authority (NHA) on Monday raised a well over 10 million rupees through its auction of 10 cars and three motorcycles.

As many as 13 vehicles, including three motorcycles, were put up for auction at NHA’s Karachi office as part of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government’s austerity drive.

Buyers on the occasion complained of poor condition of the vehicles which they said were too costly. The next phase of auction will take place in Quetta and Gilgit-Baltistan.
