Fazl asks Nawaz to personally attend APC
Fazlur Rehman during his telephonic conversation with Nawaz has urged him to personally attend APC.
SLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman telephoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday and asked him to personally attend the proposed All Parties Conference (APC) of the opposition.
The PML-N had earlier announced to send a high-level delegation to attend the APC. Maulana Fazlur Rehman during his telephonic conversation with Nawaz Sharif has urged him to personally participate in the APC instead of sending a PML-N delegation.
He also informed the former prime minister that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has also expressed his willingness to attend the proposed APC.
Nawaz Sharif has informed JUI chief that he would consult his party leadership first to discuss the matter and contact him very soon.
