Nurses continue protest on second consecutive day in Karachi
The protesting nurses say they would march towards CM House tomorrow if their demands are not met
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The nurses of Sindh’s government hospital under the banner of Joint Nurses Action Committee (JNAC) on Tuesday continue protest demonstration and a sit-in in front of Karachi Press Club (KPC) against the provincial government for not announcing health professional allowance and non-implementation of 4-tier formula.
The JNAC Committee comprising Sindh Young Nurses Association (YNA), Provincial Nurses Association(PNA) and Private School Nursing Association (PSNA) continued protest on the second consecutive day in favor of their demands.
The protesting nurses chanted slogans against provincial government and vowed that protest demonstration would be continued until acceptance of their demands.
The protesting nurses said that they would march towards CM House tomorrow if their demands are not met.
Member Sindh Assembly Nusrat Sehar Abbasi and Abdur Rasheed also attended the sit-in and demanded the provincial government to immediately resolve issues of nurses.
