Islamabad: Sit-in of utility stores' employees continues on second day

Protesters have demanded the authorities concerned to withdraw the plan of privatizing stores.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Sit-in of Utility Stores Corporation employees has continued on second day at D-Chowk in Islamabad.



According to details, the protesters have demanded the authorities concerned to withdraw the plan of privatizing utility stores and to clear their outstanding payments.



They also chanted slogans and said that the government is not providing relief to the poverty-stricken people.

Meanwhile, police officers have blocked the road heading to Parliament House in order to maintain law and order situation in the federal capital.
