PML-N backed independent lawmaker Asghar Warraich joins PTI
With this joining, PTIs tally in Punjab Assembly has soared to 181.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An independent lawmaker Chaudhry Asghar Warraich—who won by-polls from PP-118, Toba Tek Singh—on Thursday met Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and joined ranks of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
As per details garnered, Bilal Asghar called on premier along with Jahangir Tareen and pledged allegiance to the cause of PTI.
With this joining, PTI’s tally in Punjab Assembly has soared to 181.
Asghar was backed by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in by polls whereas he contested elections against PTI’s candidate Asad Zaman Cheema.
