Summary The Senate approves Pakistan Institute for Fashion and Design Bill 2010.
The meeting of the senators held under the chair of Senate Chairman Farooq H NaeK. Hina Rabbani told the meeting that more than Rs 50 billions subsidy was provided to Pakistan Railways during the last five years. She said, “Brouhaha is raised when the government cuts unprofitable routes of the Pakistan Railways and PIA.” The Finance Ministry informed the meeting that more than 2,605 imported vehicles were taken into procession on non-payment of duties. The meeting of the Senate was adjourned till 10.30am for tomorrow.
