Can only be removed from post constitutionally: CM Buzdar
The CM said that no one is using authorities of anyone.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Usman Buzdar on Saturday has clarified that he can only be removed from the post through proper process under the Constitution.
Addressing a ceremony after inauguration of Clean and Green Pakistan campaign in Lahore, the CM said that no one is using authorities of anyone.
Talking about the by-elections, Usman Buzdar said that security at the polling stations will be beefed up by deploying army officers.
He also expressed pledge to take every step for making Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s campaign successful.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Imran Khan opened the Clean and Green Pakistan campaign by planting a sapling and sweeping with broom at a private girls college in Islamabad.
PM Imran said that Pakistan stands at seventh among countries affected by global warming. Tree plantation drive would help in dealing with drought condition, he added.
He stated that the PTI government planted one billion trees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and there is international recognition of this drive. He said that the government now targets to plant ten billion trees across the country.
