Hamza Shehbaz warns PM Khan against 'imprisonment threats'
He was addressing a protest rally outside Punjab Assembly.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz on Wednesday took a jibe at Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan while asserting that democracy without substance was placed in the country.
He was addressing a protest rally outside Punjab Assembly here in the provincial capital today.
Keeping verbal onslaught up, Shehbaz stated that Usman Buzdar [incumbent Punjab chief minister] was foisted on masses of the Punjab. Shehbaz Jr added, “Buzdar has been framed in murder case. Niazi saab [Imran Khan] should have informed nation about the murder case lodged against Buzdar”.
“The transfer of Punjab Inspector General (IG) is sheer violation of electoral code of conduct”, Shehbaz apprised Imran while inquiring whether Mansha Bomb or Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed’s son was involved in the transfer.
Shehbaz warned Imran against hurling threats of imprisonment and vowed to put forth a show of ‘real opposition’.
Shehbaz urged PM Khan to initiate accountability from his home and give evidence in defence of his offshore company. He said, “Niazi saab [Imran Khan] is by-product of rigging”.
