Faisal Raza Abidi arrested under terrorism, abetment charges
Faisal Raza Abidi is already booked in a cyber crime case.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Police on Wednesday have arrested Pakistan People s Party (PPP) leader and former Senator Faisal Raza Abidi.
Abdi has been held in a case registered at secretariat police station against him. The case has been registered under section 780-A involving abetment, terrorism charges on complaint of ASI Shaukat Abbasi last night.
The ex-senator is on bail till Oct 11 in a contempt of court case in Supreme Court over use of derogatory language about Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar and anti judiciary remarks on TV channels.
Faisal Raza Abidi is also booked in a cyber crime case.
