Summary A notification has been issued for transfer of five ministries to provinces.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has also been transferred to provinces. The Cabinet Division, after the decision of transferring five ministries to provinces, has issued a formal notification in this regard. Ministries being shifted to provinces include culture, education, live stock, social welfare and tourism. Thirty-one departments and sectors, including the Higher Education Commission, have been transferred to the provinces.
