Karachi: Clash erupts in two groups during protest against extortionists

The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Sunni Tehreek announced their support for the strike. Parting ways with the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), the All Karachi Trade Union remained persistent with its strike call. All markets in Karachi, including paan shops and tea stalls, are observing a complete shutter down against extortion mafia. The MQM coordination committee said that extortionists were damaging the business in Karachi and as an act of solidarity with the traders, the MQM supported their strike.
