Amanullah Khan Yasinzai takes oath as Balochistan governor
Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Tahir Safdar administered the oath to Yasinzai.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Justice (retired) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Thursday took oath as the 24th governor of Balochistan.
Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Tahir Safdar administered oath to Yasinzai at a ceremony which took place at the Governor’s House in Quetta.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan, Provincial Assembly Speaker Abdul Qudus Bizenjo, provincial ministers, lawmakers and senior lawyers attended the oath-taking ceremony.
Born on August 7, 1954, Yasinzai obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from FC College in Lahore.
He completed his Bachelor of Laws in 1981 and started his career as a judge in Balochistan in 1997. He served as chief justice of Balochistan High Court from 2005 to 2009.
