Lahore (Dunya News) – PML-N leader Rana Mashhood’s party membership has been suspended over controversial statement. Party leadership issued show-cause notice to Rana Mashhood for his statement.
A 3-member special committee has been formed to ask for explanation from Rana Mashhood on his statement.
PML-N representative Maryam Aurangzed told that 3-member committee consisting of Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Rana Tanveer will be investigating this matter and within 2 weeks, a report will be presented for this inquiry and decision will be taken in accordance to it for Rana Mashhood.
Earlier today, Rana Mashhood however tried to clarify his point while talking to media in Punjab Assembly today that “My interview has been reported out of the context.”
He explained that I have not spoken the word “deal” anywhere in my interview. We respect as well as support law and democracy and will continue our efforts in this regard.
