Summary India has blocked almost 50 percent of the water in River Chanab .
According to the Indus River System Authority (IRSA), the water level in Tarbela Dam is at 1378 feet. The arrival of water at the dam is 27,600 cusecs and the emission of water is 43,000 cusecs.Water level in Mangla Dam is at 1,096 feet. The arrival of water at the dam is 37,014 cusecs and the emission of water is 35,000 cusecs.According to IRSA, the arrival of water at Maralah in River Chanab is 17,075 cusecs and emission of water is 9,475 cusecs.In the last 24 hours, water level in Tarbela Dam dropped by two feet and is now only nine feet above the dead level.
