Rana Mashhood says statement was quoted out of context

(Dunya News) – Following backlash, PML-N leader Rana Mashhood issued an explanatory statement and accused a private news channel of quoting his interview ‘out of context’.
In his explanatory statement, the senior PML-N leader stated he was trying to reach out to the private news channel’s administration to sort the thing out.
He asserted that it was sheer violation of journalistic code of conduct to air clips out of the context.
Earlier today , Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan sday opened a new Pandora’s box as he claimed that PML-N has sorted out matters with establishment.
He made these remarks in an interview with a private news channel.
Mashhood added that Hamza Shehbaz would be PML-N’s candidate for Punjab Chief Minister (CM).
He said, “I’m not talking about any deal. Establishment has always accepted Shehbaz Sharif”.
“Matters aren’t going as planned. If things continue to run in the same fashion, then PML-N will form govt in Punjab in the next two months”, stated Mashhood.
Mashhood was all praise for former Punjab CM and incumbent PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif. He said, “Shehbaz Sharif has played key role in resolving the matters”.
