National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday and complained about the federal ministers in-house attitude.

Ministers behave more like the opposition benches and their lack of experience is getting in the way of running the house.

According to Dunya News sources, Asad Qaiser told Imran Khan that he was facing flak from the opposition due to ministers’ absence from the house. It gives a notion of non-seriousness on part of the government while their inexperience was a hurdle in running the house according to rules of business, he added.

On the occasion, PM Imran Khan assured the speaker of resolving the issues.

Matters pertaining to PAC chairman and the parliamentary committee formed to probe rigging also came under discussion during the meeting.

Asad Qaiser proposed to give the Chair of Public Accounts Committee to the opposition leader. Prime Minister said to delay the matter till FM returns home.
