N. Waziristan: 7 soldiers martyred, nine terrorists killed in fire exchange
Pak Army raided compound of terrorists on a secret tip off.
NORTH WAZIRISTAN (Dunya News) – At least nine terrorists have been killed whereas seven army personnel including an officer have embraced martyrdom, reported media-wing of the Pak Army.
According to details, security forces launched an IBO [intelligence-based operation] in the Gharlamai and Spera Kunar Algad of North Waziristan on Saturday.
The operation was ordered after intelligence had been received that a group of terrorists was hiding in a compound after infiltrating from across [the Afghan] border, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a brief statement.
During fire exchange, all nine terrorists were killed whereas seven army personnel embraced martyrdom.
