Punjab CM appreciates security efforts on Ashura
CM said that strict security measures were taken by the Punjab Government to remain peace.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Buzdar on Friday, expressed satisfaction over the monitoring systems of CCTV cameras.
While visiting the Head Office of Punjab Safe City Authority, CM said that strict security measures were taken by the Punjab Government to remain peace in the province.
He added that innovative technology is playing an important role in supporting foolproof security for Ashura and to extend Safe City Project to each division head.
The Chief Minister also visited the central control room of Muharram-ul-Haram in Civil Secretariat.
However, he inspected at different parts of the control room and told in the briefing that 215000 police personnel are performing their duties for peace.
Punjab CM further added on this occasion that modern system has been set up for observation of rallies on Ashura.
Meanwhile, the CM expressed satisfaction over the arrangements for peace and security situation in the province.
