Acid attack injures woman in Muzaffarabad
Hospital sources said that 40 percent body of victim has been affected in the acid attack.
MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) – A woman suffered burn injuries when her in-laws sprayed acid on her in Khanpur Baga Sher area of Muzaffarabad on Friday, Dunya News reported.
In her statement to police, the victim named Haseena Mai said that her father-in-law Sharif and brother-in-law Shahzad threw acid on her. Police sources said that acid was thrown on the victim after a domestic dispute.
Police further said that the culprit involved in the acid attack managed to escape after the incident.
Haseena Mai was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital from where she was referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan’s Burn Unit. Hospital sources said that 40 percent body of victim has been affected in the acid attack.
