Chinese ambassador calls on COAS
Matters of mutual interest including regional security issues were discussed during the meeting.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters on Tuesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press statement, matters of mutual interest including regional security issues were discussed during the meeting.
Chinese Ambassador appreciated conduct of successful visit of Chinese Foreign Minister and across the board support for the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Pakistan.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa reiterated that CPEC is economic future of Pakistan and its security would never be compromised.
