A local court in Lahore has sent Moonis Elahi to the Camp Jail on a 14-day judicial remand in National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) fraud case.Moonis was presented before the court on Friday after completion of 14 days physical remand. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) maintained that the investigation from Moonis had been completed and there would not be any objection if the court sent him to jail on judicial remand.The court ordered to send Moonis to jail on a 14-day judicial remand. Moonis’ lawyer maintained that his client’s life was in danger and he should be sent to a rest house instead of jail. The court rejected the plea and FIA officials shifted Moonis to the Camp Jail, Lahore.
