Summary Young doctors strike in the government hospitals entered 32nd day on Friday.
At least 30 patients have lost their lives due to closure of emergency wards. Protesting doctors have resigned in Faislabad on salary issue. Doctors had called off their strike after meeting with senior advisor to the chief minister Zulfiqar Khosa but the talks were failed on the salary issue. According to the Young Doctors Association Faisalabad, at least 750 young doctors have submitted their resignations to Allied Hospital Medical Superintendent. Young doctors of PIMS and Poly Clinic Hospital in Rawalpindi and Islamabad were also demanding raise in their salaries.
