Summary At least three people were killed in separate incidents of target killings in Karachi on Friday.

In a fresh spat of target killing, unidentified gunmen shot at a 26-year-old MQM worker, Shah Jehan, near a factory in Usmanabad. Jehan was shifted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The situation became tense after the incident and the government deployed heavy contingents of police and rangers in the area. Meanwhile, a dead body was found near Kachra Kundi in the Napier Police Station precincts. According to the police, the victim was brutally tortured and had not yet been identified. In another incident, a 40-year-old man Gul Nawab Khan, was killed by unidentified gunmen on Napier Road, in the Kharadar area.
