PM likely to expand Federal Cabinet after presidential election
Senator Azam Swati, MNA Ali Zaidi and MNA Ali Amin Gandapur will be inducted in Federal Cabinet.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to expand the Federal Cabinet after the upcoming presidential election, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
Sources privy to the situation said that a Senator would also be inducted as minister in the next phase of Federal Cabinet expansion. Senator Azam Swati is expected to get the portfolio of Minister for Science and Technology while MNA Ali Zaidi will be inducted as Marine Affairs Minister and MNA Ali Amin Gandapur is also expected to be inducted as minister.
Currently, the 25-member federal cabinet consists of 16 federal ministers, one state minister, five advisers to the Prime Minister and three special assistants to the Prime Minister.
