PM Imran turns down French president's call twice
Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua asked Khan to take the call, he said he was busy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday turned down French President Emmanuel Macron s phone call twice.
As the world leaders continue to felicitate Imran Khan on his party’s thumping victory in general elections and assuming office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, French President Emmanuel Macron telephoned but the premier turned his phone calls twice during his meeting with senior journalists.
When Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua asked Khan to take the call, he said he was busy.
Journalist and author Hamid Mir, who was present in the meeting, tweeted: "French President Emmanuel Macron called Prime Minister Imran Khan today, but he was busy in a meeting with journalists including me..."
