At least 13 people were killed and 27 others were injured in a second assassination attempt in two days on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rahman in Charsadda on Thursday.According to the police, a bomb was exploded near the reception rally of Fazl. Women, children and a police inspector are also among the dead. The police have cordoned off the area after the incident and started the rescue operation. Talking to Dunya News, Fazl said that the bomb was exploded at a 15 feet distance from him but thankfully he went unharmed. He said that he had received no threats before the explosion. “I have no enemy and I do not know who wants to kill me”, Fazl said.The JUI-F chief was going to address a public meeting that was cancelled after the bombings. He said that he was not in the position to decide whether he would hold a public meeting or not as it was up to the local leadership of the JUI-F.
