Summary Preparation for new electoral lists will be started from April 5 along with the national census.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to revise the electoral lists according to the new census of the Federal Bureau of Statistics Division (FBSD).A meeting chaired by the ECP Secretary Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan decided that the ECP would prepare the electoral lists on the basis of the data collected by the FBSD.The secretary said that the electoral lists of 2007 had been given to National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for verification.
