Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday said that an undeclared martial law had been imposed on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).Addressing public gatherings in Swabi and Nowshera, Fazl said that no single city of the country was safe from militancy and held the United States responsible for promoting extremism in the region. He said that governments came as a gift to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Awami National Party (ANP) from the US.Fazl said that the nation would be taught self-respect and the country would be freed from the clutches of imperialists. The JUI chief said that the government would have to answer for the martyrdom of the policemen and the JUI workers in suicide attacks.
