NA-60 by-polls: PTI awards ticket to nephew of railways minister

(Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday issued ticket to the nephew Rashid Shafique of Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid for by-polls in Rawalpindi NA-60 constituency.
As per details garnered, the decision was taken in the parliamentary huddle of PTI.
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Sunday has postponed elections in NA-60 constituency following disqualification of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi.
The notification states that electoral body—after examining the overall situation—has arrived at conclusion that it was not possible for them to provide equal opportunities to all candidates in current atmosphere.
