President confers awards on military men
President conferred military awards on officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - President Mamnoon Hussain on Tuesday conferred military awards on the officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force on Independence Day.
According to according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two Sitara-i-Basalat, 59 Tamgha-i-Basalat, 34 Imtiazi Asnad, 156 COAS Commendation Cards, 17 Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), 77 Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and 106 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) were awarded to officers and soldiers of three armed forces.
Director General (DG) ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor was awarded Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military).
Col Sohail Abid (Shaheed) and Subedar Shoukat Khan (Shaheed) were awarded Sitara-i-Basalat while Col Abdul Aziz Khalid, Col Amjad Mahmood, Lt Col Naeem Aslam, Maj Naseem Shah, Maj Abdul Qayoom, Maj Mansoor Ali Khan were among those who were awarded Tamgha-i-Basalat.
