Summary The Pakistani and Indian interior secretaries resumed their talks on the second day on Tuesday.
The two-day talks are being held in the Indian capital, New Delhi, and Interior Secretary Qamar Zaman Chaudhry is leading the Pakistani delegation. His Indian counterpart, Gopal K Pillai, is leading the Indian delegation. A joint declaration is expected to be released after the conclusion of the meeting. On the first day, an agenda was decided for the interior ministers’ meeting scheduled for July. The Indian secretary said that the talks were held in a friendly environment and they would yield a positive result. The talks between the two countries were suspended following the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
