PTI's score in center crosses 180 after BNP's support, claims Fawad Chaudhry
PTI and BNP-Mengal struck a six-point agreement to form government in the centre.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhary on Thursday has claimed that his party’s score in center has crossed 180 after the support of Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-Mengal).
PTI and BNP-Mengal struck a six-point agreement to form government in the centre.
Chief Akhtar Mengal said that the sole aim of holding meeting in Quetta was to aware what issues people of the province are facing.
He said: “We have presented our points in front of various political parties on different forums and without these points, we cannot solve the issues of the province.”
Speaking on the occasion, PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Balochistan is a part of the federation and the PTI government will keep the province with it.
He said that the BNP has announced to support PTI’s candidate for premiership.
The PTI had taken the decisive lead by winning 116 seats against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif s Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former President Asif Zardari s Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) which won 64 and 43 seats, respectively.
Besides these three major parties, Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan won 13 seats, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan six seats, Pakistan Muslim League and Balochistan Awami Party four seats each, Balochistan National Party and Grand Democratic Alliance two seats each, Awami Muslim League Pakistan, Awami National Party, Jamhoori Wattan Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaniat one seat each.
