KARACHI (Dunya News) – The court on Monday has indicted three accused including Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan’s (MQM-P) Amir Khan for sheltering terrorists at Nine Zero.

During the hearing, the accused that include Amir Khan, Minhaj Qazi and Raees Mama denied all the allegations against them.

Notices have also been issued to the witnesses and investigation officers in this regard.

Earlier, MQM-P leader Amir Khan had confessed of providing safe haven to criminals in party headquarters. The challan filed by Sindh Police stated that at least 26 criminals were arrested.

Rangers had raided MQM headquarters on March 11, 2015 and arrested around 26 most wanted criminals including Naimat Randhava and those involved in Wali Babar murder case.

Afterwards, a case was registered under Sections 11-V (directing terrorist activities), 21-J (harbouring any person who committed an offence under this act) and 7 (punishment for act of terrorism) of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 on a complaint of a Rangers’ official at the Azizabad police station.
