Amir Khan was stated to be on bail in the challan filed today

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Amir Khan has confessed of providing safe haven to criminals in party headquarters and identified cache of weapons hidden at a location during, a court hearing on Saturday.

The challan filed by Sindh Police in the court today stated that at least 26 criminals were arrested including Minhaj Qazi, security incharge of the headquarters, while Amir Khan was on bail.

The challan was presented before administrative judge of Anti-Terrorism Courts (ATC).

Special public prosecutor, Rana Khalid informed the court that the challan was being filed following arrest of Minhaj Qazi as he had gone into hiding over different raids.

Rangers had raided MQM headquarters on June 3, 2015 and arrested around 26 most wanted criminals including Naimat Randhava and those involved in Wali Babar murder case.

The hearing would resume on October 25 in Karachi Central Jail.
