LAHORE (Dunya News) - A Shaheen Air International flight NL-892 has reached China from Lahore on Monday to bring back Pakistanis stranded in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.

About 324 passengers had to reach Pakistan through a Shaheen Air flight on July 29 but they were left stranded after the flight was delayed due to dispute with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Shaheen Air International was prohibited to utilize facilities and services offered by the CAA after failing to clear dues amounting Rs.1.5 billion.

The CAA has now given special flight permission to Shaheen Air International to immediately bring back Pakistanis from Chinese city of Guangzhou.

Foreign office representative said that no one has been barred from traveling back to Pakistan. Staff members are present at the airport to guide the passengers while the flight will reach Lahore in the evening today, he added.

Earlier, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar, taking notice of the matter of over 300 Pakistani passengers stranded in China, had ordered to hold the hearing of the case.
