Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Monday said that the Punjab government was not involved in the release US gunman Raymond Davis, therefore, there was no question of any adverse affect on the PML-N’s “popularity” due to his release.Talking to the media after the fourth convocation of the Government College Karkhana Bazaar in Faisalabad, he said that the court released Davis and the Punjab government had nothing to do with it. He said that Davis’s passport seized after his arrest was still in Punjab government’s custody.He said that the supporters of Saraiki province would failed because a new province in Punjab would open a Pandora ’s Box and the demands seeking provincial status for Karachi and Hazara would be intensified.He rejected the division of the country on political basis. He said that Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani was going to India for watching the match and no PML-N member would accompany him.
