PM stresses utmost precaution for security of candidates, public
PM Mulk also condoled with the victims and their families of terrorist attack in Mastung.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (retired) Nasirul Mulk on Sunday chaired a high-level meeting at Governor s House to review law and order situation in Balochistan.
The prime minister directed the authorities concerned and stakeholders to exercise utmost precaution and take all possible measures to ensure security of the candidates and the public participating in political rallies and corner meetings.
Earlier, the interim prime minister visited the of house of former Balochistan chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani and condoled martyrdom of his younger brother Nawabzada Mir Siraj Raisani in a suicide bomb attack in Mastung.
Prime Minister Mulk also visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and inquired about the health of injured persons of Mastung tragedy. He prayed for their speedy recovery.
Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Balochistan Chief Minister Allauddin Marri and Federal Minister Roshan Khursheed Bharucha also accompanied the prime minister.
On the other hand, Pakistan is observing a day of mourning today to pay tributes to the martyrs of recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The announcement to this effect was made by Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk in Islamabad on Saturday with the aim to also express grief and solidarity with the victim families.
