Summary Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated quality work being under taken by the FWO

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday construction of Swat Express Way will help bringing socio-economic development in Pakistan which is key to progress and prosperity of any country.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS visited under construction Zalam Kot twin tube tunnel on Swat Express Way near Chakdara.

The 1300 meters long tunnel as part of Swat Motorway Project will be completed by December this year and reduce the travel time between Islamabad-Chakdara from 4 hours to 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The 81km long Swat Motorway that forms part of trade corridor is being executed by Federal Works Organisation (FWO).

On the occasion, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa appreciated quality work being under taken by the organization.

He also lauded and acknowledged FWO s contributions towards nation building including KKH.
