Lahore: One killed as trailer gets stuck in underpass
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – One person was killed and another was wounded when a trailer got stuck in underpass at the Jail Road on Friday night, Dunya News reported.
Eye-witnesses said that the driver apparently misjudged the height of the underpass, crossed the blocker sign and rammed the vehicle into the underpass’ upper structure.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. The accident caused a massive traffic jam. People stuck in the traffic jam faced difficulties in reaching their destinations.
