Lahore: Open manhole claims lives of two minor girls
Two minor girls were killed after falling into an open manhole in Lahore on Thursday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Two minor girls were killed after falling into an open manhole in Maryam Town area in the jurisdiction of Nishtar Town Police Station in Lahore on Thursday.
According to details, two-year-old Kinza and two and a half year old Fatima were playing outside their house in Maryam Town when they fell in the open manhole of an under-construction house which was filled with rain water.
Mothers of the deceased girls have blamed owner of the house who left the manhole open. The heirs of Kinza and Fatima have also appealed the present government to provide then justice.
